  I want to start by saying I am not one who does reviews, but I think it is warranted. I have been a patient with universal for 15 plus years. Prior to becoming a patient with them I was with another doctor who in my opinion was a legalized drug dealer. When I came into universal for an interview, I ended up interviewing the Doctor because I didn't want to be a patient at a placed that didn't care about their patients and just wanted to give them drugs to shut them up. By the end of my interview with Doctor Sadik I ended up answering all of his questions by asking mine and I was very comfortable and confident that they wanted to help me and not just shut me up. They try to find the best treatment they can to help fix and solve your issues. When it comes to surgery and it is a surgery the doctors there can not do they find the best doctors. I know this, because my last surgery was performed by a surgeon that performed the same surgery on my doctor. No matter what kind of injury, insurance or work comp they will fight for you to make sure you get the treatment needed for the issues at hand. The Doctors and Staff treat you like a person and not a number. They take the time to listen to you and not just get you in and out as fast as possible as most doctors do. I am so very happy and pleased to have found Universal pain management and will be a patient with them for life. I cant imagine ever going anywhere else. It is nice to find people who truly care about their patients and their issues. Who go above and beyond to make sure you get the proper treatment and care. This being said, one of the things I really like is that they also monitor their patients use of narcotics if they are taking them. It is very important to make sure their patients don't become dependent on them or misuse them. One of the things they do is have you take random pee tests to monitor your use of the medications. Another thing I really like is that they don't bounce you from doctor to doctor. You get to see the same doctor every time (unless they are on vacation). I really love the Doctors and Staff at Universal Pain Management, I can not say enough about them and there are no words to describe just how awesome they are.   I have been followed by pain Dr's for many years at many facilities. Dr. Kohan is extremely knowledgeable, always professional, compassionate, and kind. His goal is restoring and maintaining optimum quality of life for his patients. He knows whats best for your course of treatment. Let him lead and have faith , you won't be disappointed. All the staff at UPM are terrific. After trying all the rest, I've found the best .
